Hey y’all! On Tuesday, I head back to the OR to have the tip of my nose and the remaining ala removed (right side). It is necessary to remove this portion of my nose in order to accommodate the upcoming prosthesis. In addition to the nose, Dr. Lian will also attempt to reconstruct my lip, but the nose is the priority.
What does that mean? Well, more surgery is what it means…I must be 100% healed from surgery in order to properly fitted for the nose. In order for me to receive the nose this year the surgery is ASAP. I’m hoping that he will have time to work his magic on my lip too.
I am so ready for this next step and am so very thankful for everyone’s support. Here are a few pictures of the prototype as well. There will be some minor adjustments, but I am AMAZED at how it turned out
